Growing the Movement: a conversation between farmers and florists, presented by MD's Best and the MCFGA

We invite Maryland florists to join us in this inaugural event. Together, we will build community and identify the challenges of buying local flowers so that we can come up with solutions, both on an individual and group level.

The first hour will be a panel with two florists (Alyse of Crimson & Clover and Kelly of Petals by the Shore) and two farmers (Laura Beth of Butterbee Farm and Morgan of Belle Blooms), moderated by Maya of Hillen Homestead. The panel will discuss the issues and barriers faced by florists who want to use local flowers.

During the second hour, farmers and florists will break out into groups by region. Each group will have a moderator to lead this more casual discussion.

Join us for refreshments and a light lunch following the discussion!

This event is free. We are so excited to announce that we have filled our space to capacity! If you're interested, please sign up for our waitlist.
